60 minute yoga practice

Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa, or Hybrid

Yin yoga Personally my favourite style of yoga, yin poses are held for 3-5 minutes, allowing the fascial tissues over your muscles to gain flexibility, release tension, and to allow hydration of these tissues. Yin yoga also allows us to tap into our parasympathetic system, as we allow our bodies and minds to enter into stillness and a meditative state. Hatha yoga Hatha yoga is great for anyone looking to feel better in their bodies. Focusing on breathwork and slow transitions into poses, hatha yoga combines both energetic and relaxing postures to help massage out your muscles, organs, and trapped energy in the mind. Vinyasa flow A vinyasa flow class is designed to help you move. You can gain flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular fitness with a vinyasa class. This class is suitable for all levels and can be modified to suit your needs, whether you are a beginner looking to gain strength and confidence, or intermediate/advanced practitioner looking to deepen your practice and learn new skills. Yoga is about creating a safe space for your body to experience the edge of comfortable discomfort, wherever that may be. Your body is a living being that changes every day. Giving it the time and space to explore and expand is all you really need to do! Go slow, and honour whatever is it that you feel is right for you today.
