The 90minute workshop is based on the wisdom of Ha-Tha yoga interweaving strong, active flow and soft, slow restorative poses into a harmonious whole. On top of asana practice, the group will include pranayama practice and guided meditations. This workshop is a gentle yet powerful way to reignite the practice and dive deeper into it. It is comprised of three, 90 minutes session, allowing the rest of the day to be spent in rest, reflection and integration. The workshop is based on the wisdom of Ha-Tha yoga (Sun-Moon yoga), interweaving strong, active flow and soft, slow restorative poses into a harmonious whole. On top of asana practice, the group will include pranayama practice and guided meditations. Hatha refers to the physical practice of yoga. Classes focus on breathwork, postures, relaxation, and meditation. This is an excellent class to learn the foundations of yoga in a safe and supportive environment. Postures are held for an extended period to ensure proper alignment, and build strength and flexibility. Whether you are new to yoga or are familiar with the practice, Beginner Hatha yoga will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility without feeling overwhelmed or confused. In this class we will take our time to get into postures focusing on the basics. We will combine yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen the body, reduce stress and calm the mind. No yoga experience is required. Students of all experience levels are welcome.
