The way I teach meditation centres a lot around what the body feels right now, what you feel right now, and how we can bring our attention to it so that we can process it. When things get processed, there’s a chance for them to be transformed - from something that isn’t sitting right or comfortably perhaps, such as an unwelcome emotion or sensation - to something that we start to recognize doesn’t have that much to do with us at all. And meditation can be hard at the beginning, we might not know where to start. Through guided meditation, I help you get connected with your body, to what’s most important in the present moment to you, and from there things become a lot easier as they become more clear. And when our choices become clear, choosing gets a lot easier too. Yoga Nidra is an experience to come back into the place of peace and calm that is at the center of your being. Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep", has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, increase creativity and focus, promote healing and immunity, and improve sleep and digestion. Coaching provides a safe space for you to be seen, witnessed and listened to. When we feel heard, we feel safe to express what’s been sitting with us, maybe for longer than we can remember. It is from that place of safety that clarity is possible. Coaching is different from therapy in that while therapy and counselling focus on healing, coaching focuses on change.
