Gentle Yoga for Beginners

10 minutes of information session of what Yoga is and what I offer, including the style of teaching. Q & A including students health and exercise background. Followed by 50 mnt guided Yoga class and Savasana.

1. What is included in this 60 mnt session? - 10 mnt discussion and Q & A. In order to get to know my students, I always like to ask about general health and limitations. This allows me to build a better and safer class sequences for you. - 45 guided Gentle Hatha style Yoga. The poses and slower pace with detailed alignment instructions and explanations. I provide verbal cues and modifications throughout the poses. I also include breath work. - Last 5 mnt of Savasana (Corpse Pose) where the students will lie in complete stillness for a relaxation and guided meditation. 2. What to wear? - Comfortable Yoga or workout clothing (appropriate clothes, not too tight, not too baggy). 3. What to prepare? - A safe and open space at your home to practice Yoga. Preferably some distance from your camera so I can see your alignment. - A non-slip Yoga mat in good condition for your safety. - 1 small pillow, 1 blanket or towel, Yoga blocks (or 2 sturdy thicker books), 1 Yoga strap (regular belt or strap). - Bottle of water 4. Any health issues? - Students must not have any recent injuries, surgery and/or other health concerns that haven't been cleared by their physicians. 5. Camera and microphone? - Regular cell phone, computer or tablets with working camera and microphone. I should always be able to see students to help with cues and modifications. All microphones (except mine) will be muted throughout the Yoga class and meditation to avoid any distraction.
