I am a journalist, radio host, a writer and a mother of two fantastic sons. Currently I live in Warsaw, Poland and I work for two leading news titles: the “Polityka” weekly and the the Chillizet radio station. In my writings I focus on life style and politics commentary, my columns are often funny or ironic but they usually deal with serious temporary issues such as education, love, family life, health, dangers of populism, wars or challenges of the age of globalization and age of technology. My other specialty is just… meeting with people and talking. That is why I love my work as a radio host. I host my own radio show every week, it is called “Biblioteka radiowa”, my guests are famous writers. Books are my passion. Poetry, prose, reportage, science- I just have a passion for knowledge and I admire people who are talented writers. I was born in Warsaw, Poland on Feb. 4, 1973. I graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, U.S.A. I lived in the US for six years. I also have a Masters degree from the Warsaw University- German studies. My father , Daniel Passent, was a famous Polish journalist and the Polish ambassador to Chile, My mother, Agnieszka Osiecka , was a famous Polish poet. My parents taught me to work hard, love the books but I also love to have fun. In my free time I meet with my friends, go to the theatre or I do sports. Tennis, fitness, skiing or just walking in nature with my family or traveling is what I like to do.I published several books; “Klauzula zdumienia”, “Pałac wiecznie żywy” and “Dziecko? O matko”. I often write about cities and urban matters. Even though I achieved so much already I still have dreams. I would like to see more of the world outside Europe and I would like to serve my readers, my listeners and my observers better because I believe journalist do have a mission to serve excellent writing and news we can trust.
