I'm Anita Walder, a Swiss-Canadian yoga instructor and chef with a passion for travel and holistic wellness. After moving abroad in 2005, I discovered yoga in 2014, and it quickly became a transformative part of my life. In 2021, I fulfilled my dream of becoming a certified yoga teacher, completing my training in Peru, and have been teaching on and off ever since. Most recently, I completed a course on Applied Polyvagal Theory in yoga, which is trauma-informed, allowing me to bring a deeper understanding of the nervous system and trauma sensitivity to my classes. This knowledge helps me create a safe and supportive space for my students, making yoga accessible and healing for everyone. In addition to yoga, I have over 15 years of experience as a chef, having worked in cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and retreat centers. This background enables me to approach wellness from a holistic perspective, blending mindful movement with nourishing practices. Now, I'm focused on expanding my yoga teaching while continuing to deepen my own practice and understanding, aiming to inspire others on their wellness journeys.
