Jen is an Experienced Yoga Instructor, who in 2013 completed her 200 hr Yoga teacher training at Gilbert Yoga. In the same year she became a mom to her first son and started sharing her heart's work in her own classrooms and educational settings. In the years that followed she continued her yoga training through PESI, gaining insight on Trauma sensitive yoga, completed Physio Yoga Fascia Release training and Biomechanics. She later completed Mindfulness First Instructor Training, YACEP: Yoga Alliance Arm Balance & Inversions, Manifest training; The Power of Unwavering Focus in 2023 and most recently completed her certification in: Somatics Tune In To Your Body & Freedom in Movement. Through her full spectrum of training Jen offers an interdisciplinary approach, emphasizing anatomy and the biomechanics of breath. Her classes and professional workshops blend a breath based and therapeutic style of conscious corrective exercises. She is passionate about breathing embodiment, the science and practices of physical and emotional resiliency. When she’s not nerding out with Yoga in the workplace, you can find her cooking out with her husband and begging frenchie, cheering on her two sons at hockey, or falling asleep with a good book and trying to balance out life’s beautiful messes.
