Hello! My name is Jesse Keffer, MBA, CHSS, CSM, and I am an experienced professional, instructor, and mentor with a background in security, public safety, leadership, professional development, and community service. Throughout my professional career, I have developed strong skills in communication, leadership, conflict resolution, customer service, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and training. I have also served in roles involving public safety and intelligence coordination, which helped me develop the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and remain calm and professional in challenging situations. As an instructor, my goal is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel respected, encouraged, and comfortable asking questions. I focus on practical learning, clear explanations, real-world examples, and adapting my teaching approach to each student's individual needs and learning style. My professional training includes First Aid, CPR, AED, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, along with additional professional development in areas such as verbal de-escalation, customer service, workplace violence prevention, leadership, and public safety. I am particularly interested in helping students develop their English communication skills, professional vocabulary, confidence, interpersonal communication, and workplace readiness. I enjoy working with students who want to improve themselves, advance their careers, communicate more effectively.
