Ever since I was a little girl, I love dancing, musicals (most indian movies are musicals) observing the actors... In indian dance what is truly beautiful is how movments are coordinated, your face, your eyes... and you add acting in it, you tell a story which leads to a kind of meditation. Bharatanatyam is one of the classical dances dealing with gods, so while you dance you become a god. Both classical dance and yoga come from the ancient scripts, the vedas. So yoga has come to me quiet naturally. As far as for yoga I teach hatha yoga, natya yoga (dance yoga) and yin yoga. It is really open to everyone (except if you have a serious injury) because I give different variations on each pose ans it is a good way to learn to accept our differences and progress at out own pace. One important thing is that I also use ayurveda and philosophy of yoga in my classes which is even mlre important than the postures. These arts changed my life, I feel less anxious, I've learned how to deal with my emotions, to qickly find solutions and now I know what "to seize the day" means.
