Hi! I’m Miriam, a language teacher with 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to both children and adults. 🎓 I studied Translation and Interpreting, but after starting to teach English, I discovered that helping people learn languages was what I truly loved doing! Over the years, I’ve worked with all kinds of students, from little ones taking their first steps in English to adults looking to improve their communication skills at work. I’ve taught general and business English, Spanish, conversation classes, and exam preparation, both online and in person. I’m a bit of a grammar nerd (I love making grammar finally *make sense*!), and I believe learning a language should be about much more than memorising rules. I love bringing culture, real-life situations, humour, and students’ own interests into my lessons to make learning practical, engaging, and fun. For me, the best part of teaching is watching students grow in confidence, overcome their fear of speaking, and realise just how much they can achieve. Because learning a language isn't just about learning words. It's about opening doors to new people, cultures, and experiences! 🌍
