Hello I'm Rachel an international yoga, movement, and mindfulness instructor with over 15 years of experience. I teach gentle inclusive yoga and mindful movement sessions and also a guide for meditation and yoga nidra. I was first introduced to yoga back in my early 20s when I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It was recommended as a gentle form of exercise to keep my joints supple and keep me moving. 20 years later the practice has transformed my life, not only physically but mentally too. So becoming a Yoga teacher was a natural progression for me as I wanted to share the wonderful benefits yoga has to offer. As well as teaching Yoga, I teach movement and mindfulness practices to help those dealing with stress and anxiety and those with chronic conditions like arthritis or those with restricted mobility to get moving and feel better in their bodies again. Inspired by my own need to adapt movements, it's my mission to create classes that are inclusive, especially for those who may have limited mobility. I currently teach my own classes via Zoom and I am a featured live yoga teacher on the Insight Timer App as well as teaching in my local community.
