I was born in Kolkata, India and moved to California in 2015. Food was an integral part of my childhood and I learned to cook from my grandmother at a young age. I couldn’t find the flavors I grew up eating and that intense craving gave me the courage to start hosting my own pop-up dinners in San Francisco cooking family recipes in a fine-dining setting in 2018. Since then, I have hosted multiple sold-out events and I'm now a private chef in Las Vegas. I also have a YouTube channel where I teach people how to cook simple Indian recipes, educate viewers on basic cooking techniques and share my opinions on Indian food in the US.
