I’m a native French speaker. I’ve spent the last 20+ years living a very different kind of “immersion” running kitchens and hospitality venues across Switzerland and Australia. I actually earned my culinary chops training in Switzerland. That means I’ve spent years switching between French, English, Italian and German just to get through a lunch service. These days I call the Adelaide Hills / McLaren Vale wine region home. But my accent still gives away where I really grew up. I love teaching French the way I love teaching someone to cook. No stiff textbook rules. Just practical, tasty, real-world language you can actually use. Whether that’s ordering wine in Paris, chatting with a French colleague or finally understanding that recipe you’ve been avoiding because it’s written in French. If you want a tutor who’ll laugh with you through your mistakes, throw in the odd food metaphor and keep things relaxed rather than academic. Let’s chat!
